Behind the scenes during filming of Endeavour 7 | FILM 1 in Oxford, August 2019.
Day one of filming Endeavour series 7 in Oxford started in New College Lane. It was a busy morning with quite a bit of coverage to film and there was a stunt involving a cyclist. It was fascinating to see the amount of planning involved for a few seconds of action on screen. One of the first scenes to be filmed didn’t make the final cut.
[Tech info]: Leica M6, 35/2.8 Zeiss Biogon, Kodak Portra 400 (could possibly be Superia 200), Noritsu scans.
Thank you so much for this.
Living in Japan, I didn’t even know that “Young Morse” is actually “Endeavour”; the names of many films and TV shows are changed to make them more transparent to non-native English speakers.
That aside, I am always amazed at how such ‘Time Machines’ are created; the timing (no traffic or 2020 people), clothing, props, etc.
More, much-much more please (-:
Stay safe.
Hey Julian,
Thanks for your comment – very insightful. What does the Japanese title translate to?
Plenty more photography still to come.
